The social distancing of a minimum of 6-feet is strongly encouraged for all guests. Masks are also encouraged for unvaccinated individuals or when social distancing becomes difficult to maintain.
If you wish to wash and dry your clothes while maximizing your social distance options, consider visiting us on a weekday, middle of the day, or late in the evening.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our laundromat’s social distancing policies and how they continue to evolve as more information becomes available through the CDC.
Providing safer laundromats is what we do at 24 Hour Laundry. This was true before Covid and will continue to be one of our top priorities throughout the Covid pandemic. Our safety policies include:
Person-to-person interaction and contact closer than 6-feet is not recommended when visiting our facility. To achieve minimal contact, consider visiting us during slow hours, wearing a mask, and interacting only with family members and friends you came with.
This includes limiting contact with other people’s belongings, especially any item that has not already been properly washed and sanitized. For a complete listing of person-to-person contact suggestions, please contact us or visit the CDC website.
If you have experienced any Covid-related symptoms within the last 4-6 days, please remain home until you have been symptom-free or received a negative Covid test result.
For anyone looking to avoid coming to the laundromat in person, we also offer best-in-class wash and fold laundry services throughout Houston, TX. Starting at $1.59 per pound, this can be an excellent option for sick or otherwise immune-compromised individuals who do not currently have Covid.
If you have experienced Covid symptoms or have tested positive for the virus, please let our crew know so we can take the appropriate care options as recommended by the CDC for handling your items.
We recommend you leave your clothes out a few days, which should kill any remaining virus before your pickup is scheduled.
Please consult your healthcare provider or the CDC website before handling any clothing you know has come in contact with a Covid patient.
